Currently, the Czech Republic includes its historical
territories of Bohemia, Moravia and Czech Silesia.
Velvet revolution and the Independence
Czechoslovakia remained occupied until the 1989 peaceful ‘’Velvet
Revolution’’ In which the communist establishment collapsed and Czechoslovakia
returned to a liberal democracy. On 1st of the January 1993 with its
constituent states, Czechoslovakia peacefully, spit into the independent Czech
Republic and Slovakia.
Tourism in Czech Republic
Well-Known for its unique architectural creations throughout
the past millennium, the Czech Republic has become one of the most visited
tourist destinations in the Europe. Over centuries, the country has been
influenced by different architectural evolution owing to different
civilization. In addition, the country was hardly ever touched during the world
wars and it skipped the brutal destruction of 20th century Europe.
Hence the country’s most of the unique architecture was remained for today and
has become a favourite tourist attraction.

The country has a great assortment of natural and cultural treasures
of ancient empires within reach. The castles and chateaux, charming atmosphere
of ancient cities, unspoiled county side, historical cities and legendary
cuisine, etc. will make the country more attractive to the many travellers who
crave something off of the traditional European tour path.
‘’Prague’’ The Czech’s capital
The country’s capital city ‘’Prague’’ is one of the most
visited in the Europe. In 2016, Prague ranked sixth in the trip advisor world
list of best destinations. It is also the historical capital of Bohemia. Prague
houses a number of popular cultural attractions, such as the Prague castle, the
Charles Bridge, Old Town Square with the Prague astronomical clock, the Jewish
Quarter, Petrin hill and Vysehrad, etc. Considering its far-reaching historic
value, {Prague has been included in the UNESCO list of the world Heritage Sites
since in 1992.
It is na easy city to get around : you can navigate through the
city with widespread modern public transportation system that connects the
city. Here, the Prague’s tradition is more genuine which means it has not been
faded by the tourist demands. The living cost is fairly low in Prague, thus the
city is all the rage destination of travel community.
