Highest city in the world

La Rinconada is a town in the Peruvian Andes located in Peru. At 5,100 m (16,700 feet) above sea level, it is the highest city in the world. Its geographically surrounded by "The Sleeping Beauty" glacier. La Rinconada has an alpine climate, because its located in Andes. The highest city has wet summers, dry winters and autumn to cold temperatures throughout the year, with snow-falls. Therefore average annual temperature in La Rinconada is 1.2 °C and the average annual rainfall is 707 mm. Second highest city located in China.


Economy and infrastructure

The economy of La Rinconada based on gold. Geographical influence main reason of the gold base economy, because city nearby gold mines, many artisanal. Many workers works at the gold mine without any payment. But they have great benefit, one pay per month they are allowed to carry out gold with them as much as possible to their shoulders.  Normally Women are banned from the mines.
La Rinconada, population around fifty thousand. If someone think people I that world highest city are very lucky, they live in upper attitude and they have gold, It is not true, There is also significant contamination by mercury,  gold and other contaminants.  The mine(gold) kills both quickly and slowly.

Most buildings in La Rinconada are simple lean-tos, constructed with cheap corrugated metal. But no modern heating, and little insulation system against the adverse weather conditions. So, sanitation and infrastructure facilities are very poor. However people in the La Rinconada well adopt with the system. Moreover it seems to many difficulties to live in this city for outlanders, but some tourist visit there to feel culture and experience. Also some people like to feel weather pattern. Every travellers must note this location for future destination.
